Corne devilliers Counselling

Project Overview

Corne deVilliers is an HPCSA-registered counsellor offering support for trauma, grief, anxiety, self-esteem, career guidance and psychoeducation for teens and adults. Building trust with a potential client before they make contact is essential in a counselling context. The website needed to feel calm, clear and professional, giving visitors the confidence to take the first step without feeling overwhelmed.

The Brief

MM Digital was briefed to build a professional website that presents the range of services clearly, establishes credibility and puts the visitor at ease from the start. The design needed to reflect the nature of the work: calming, considered and accessible. A single-page scroll format with anchor navigation was chosen so visitors can move through the content at their own pace. MM Digital handled layout, design, content writing and hosting setup.

What We Built

MM Digital designed and developed a WordPress website using Elementor Pro with a fully custom aesthetic built around soft neutrals, ample white space and empathetic imagery. No pre-built templates were used. The layout moves progressively from an introductory welcome section through service areas, topics covered and a simple contact path. Navigation is kept minimal to reduce cognitive load for visitors who may already be under pressure. Content was written by MM Digital to accurately reflect the range of support Corne offers and the considered approach behind each session. Performance was treated as a priority throughout, as visitors seeking support need fast, reliable page loads. The site is fully mobile responsive.
