KBM Truck and Plant is a locally owned groundwork business serving farmers, homeowners, contractors and businesses across South Africa. The company provides plant and machinery hire, grass cutting, hay bale supply, firewood delivery and a range of agricultural support services. KBM operates in a market where reputation and word of mouth carry real weight, and the website needed to reflect the professionalism and reliability the business already has in the field.
The Brief
MM Digital was briefed to build a professional, credibility-focused website that communicates local expertise and makes it easy for clients to get in touch. A key requirement was mobile performance: a large portion of KBM's clients are tradespeople, farmers and contractors who access the web on phones while on site or in the field. The site needed to load fast, display clearly on any screen and make contact as simple as possible. MM Digital handled the full project from layout and design through to content writing and hosting setup.
What We Built
MM Digital designed and developed a clean, professional website structured around the services KBM offers and the clients they serve. The layout is built for clarity: visitors land on a homepage that immediately communicates what the business does, which areas they cover, and how to make contact. Service pages give enough detail without overloading the reader, and the enquiry path is kept short and direct throughout. Mobile was treated as the primary use case from day one, with click-to-call functionality placed prominently and the site optimised to perform well on slower connections. Content was written by MM Digital to accurately describe each service and position KBM as a dependable, locally grounded operator that clients can count on.
