Zest Gourmet Foods

Project Overview

Zest Gourmet Foods is an artisan producer of Cape delicacies including preserves, infused oils and spice blends. The business sells to a mix of buyers: retail customers, foodies, chefs, specialty retailers and wholesale buyers. Each product uses natural ingredients with no artificial additives, and the website needed to communicate that quality and authenticity clearly to drive direct enquiries and wholesale relationships.

The Brief

MM Digital was briefed to build a product-focused website that showcases the Zest Gourmet range, communicates the quality and origin of the ingredients and gives both retail and wholesale buyers a straightforward path to order or enquire. The site also needed to support an SEO and online marketing strategy to grow organic traffic and paid leads over time. MM Digital handled design, development, SEO, online marketing and hosting setup.

What We Built

MM Digital designed and developed the site on WordPress using Elementor Pro with a custom aesthetic using warm earth tones, high-resolution product photography and detailed product layouts. No pre-made templates were used. JetEngine powers dynamic product post types with category filtering, ingredient highlights and custom fields for usage tips and product stories. Product showcase sections give buyers a full view of the range and what sets each product apart. Separate enquiry flows were built for retail and wholesale buyers, with order forms and direct contact options for both. Content was written by MM Digital to present each product in detail and to position Zest Gourmet as a quality, authentically South African artisan producer. The site is maintained by MM Digital and optimised for search.
